Powerlite DLS series
High energy and efficiency
Features
- Distributed, intelligent control - Microprocessors power both the laser head and the power supply for even more precise control.
- Rack-mounted modules simplify maintenance and service.
- Active digital control of the new cooling system allows precise temperature control and enhanced thermal regulation.
- A standard Windows®-based, high-performance graphical user interface (GUI) allows you to configure all the system's functions.
- Lab View can also be supplied with standard drives.
Applications
The Powerlite DLS represents a new generation of high-energy YAG laser structures. It combines the excellent properties and reliability of the renowned Powerlite laser family with advanced digital power supply and control electronics. The power supply is very compact and the Continuum team has built it from reliable components that have been successfully used in other industrial and medical products. The new DLS Connect unit has unrivalled control and display features, yet is small, practical and user-friendly.
The Powerlite delivers outstandingly high energy, ranging from 550 mJ to 3J, and its optional harmonic unit also serves wavelengths of 532, 355 and 266nm. Other options include a Seed laser structure, a dual-pulse (DPO) design or a Beam-Access package.
