Minilite series

First turn-key Nd:YAG laser priced for the lab

Features

  • Extremely small, simple, turnkey operation
  • Solid-state structure can replace a nitrogen laser
  • High peak power, low jitter
  • External remote control
  • Can be operated locally or remotely via TTL interface
  • No external cooling water connection is required, the system is fully self-operating.
  • Easy flash tube replacement; no need to readjust the laser oscillator after replacement.
  • The invar resonator structure guarantees long term thermal and mechanical stability.
  • Built-in adjustable attenuator

Applications

Minilite represents the entry level of Continuum's Q-switch Nd:YAG laser systems. It is designed for new and regular users who are looking for an easy-to-use, externally controlled, small pulsed laser. The laser offers a high level of technical performance at a competitive price.

The Minilite standard equipment includes a user accessible harmonic generator and an integrated energy attenuator. The Minilite I and II lasers are based on a single-chamber YAG crystal, flash tube, invar element, stable resonator design, which provides maximum energy output and excellent beam quality.

Inlite applications include remote sensing, sample analysis, mass spectroscopy, LIF and flash photolysis.
