Applications
The Darwin series of high repetition rate Nd:YLF lasers features the smallest laser head of any system in its class. It produces high average power (>50 W) at kilohertz repetition rates. Quantronix's proprietary intracavity frequency doubling results in high conversion efficiency, without resorting to the tight focusing (and possible optical damage) in the doubling crystal that would be necessary in an extracavity design.
Our patented* pumping chamber design further increases the Darwin's overall efficiency. High pulse energy, smallest M2, and small jitter are all available in this extremely compact diode-pumped package optimized for pumping Ti:Sapphire amplifiers.
